Creating tomorrow's entrepreneurs today.
| The Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) is where young entrepreneurs put their creativity into practice. As directors of their own company, students are challenged to develop a business plan and execute that plan for real, making their own decisions and managing risk. |

The YES is an experiential business programme for secondary school students usually run at Years 12 and/or 13. It involves working through the process of setting up and running a business. This is not a textbook course; students invest real money, produce real products or services, and keep any real profits. For students, Young Enterprise is a great opportunity to test out your ideas, realise uniqueness, develop strengths, learn about enterprise and possibly make a profit.
Enterprising Manukau facilitates this project in the Counties Manukau region.
Are you interested in being involved? There is always a need for coaches and mentors for the student businesses, judges for the competitive Business Plan and Annual Return competitions. Your company may choose to be a sponsor.
