We are undertaking a survey of the freight transport and logistics sector, a major Auckland region industry group that employs over 27,000 people and has a capital investment of many billions of dollars.

While the individual sections of the industry have excellent industry organisations that work on their behalf, there is no single regional body that represents the entire industry.

Recognising this need for an overarching regional organisation, Auckland Tourism Events and Economic Development is establishing a body to work on behalf of all divisions of the industry, including transport, warehousing, customs clearance, freight forwarding and facilities owners and managers.
